Dr. Abey John (Kunchacko Boban) is a hugely successful cardio surgeon, leading a happy family life with his wife Niya (Mamta Mohandas) and their lovely daughter Achu (Baby Anika). But things go terribly wrong for them, while the doctor is on a visit to Bengaluru.
A dangerous looking man named Niranjan (Indrajith) kidnaps the kid. While Achu is taken to a lonely house in the forest area by Eldo (Jagathy Sreekumar), Niranjan has Niya and Shwetha (Gowri Munjal) has Abey, at gunpoint. The gang demands for a hefty amount as ransom and the tension mounts.
Well, the problem with the film is that all these events happen pretty fast but then the wait for the climax seems to be an endless one. The screenplay, written by Robin Tirumala and by the director himself, meanders along aimlessly for most parts as a result. The visuals by Pramod Varma and the music by Viswajit are fine.
The lead actors have done their roles pretty fine. But Jagathy Sreekumar, whose character behaves in an eccentric way, looks totally out of place. There are several loose ends in the script, which we will not discuss here as it could turn out to be spoilers. Also, spotting the goofs could be a worthwhile exercise for the viewers as they wait desperately for things to happen.
